Role of designer around Community Engagement in an experiemental project at SERTS, a covered amplitheatre serving Cornish community. Mayes Creative, brought science and arts together exploring ‘deep space’ using film and proffessional dance. Music was affected by live data from ‘cosmic rays’ captured as they struck Cornwall from outer space. Open call to gather art works to create ‘cosmic’ textiles for costumes. Intention to create moving canvasses using simple shapes and pattern cutting techniques to enhance parts of the design. Digital print, water based inks, print to order, makes it an eco-choice.
